Sometimes the mess is obvious, and other times it’s hidden beneath a perfect exterior. Some days, you may think you have life all figured out, only to have issues with work, family, finances or health knock you down and have you feeling lost, stuck and even hopeless.

At First Christian Church, we believe there is more to life than chaos and uncertainty.

We understand what it’s like to live with mess, because we’ve been there. We are a group of real people who have found that a relationship with Jesus Christ gave us the peace, hope and unconditional love we were seeking. This hope – real life – allows us to be open and honest with each other as we grow together in faith to be more like Jesus.

But What Does It Cost...

Too many people want just enough of Jesus to feel saved, but not enough to be transformed.

In this sermon, we’ll explore the parables of the hidden treasure and pearl, and what it truly means to follow Jesus.

Salvation is a free gift, but transformation costs us something—our comfort, control, and commitment. Yet the Kingdom of God is worth everything we have.

Jesus didn’t come just to save us from hell; He came to make us new, set us free, and send us on mission. Don’t settle for partial faith—choose full surrender and discover the abundant life Jesus offers.
