Deacons’ Meeting Minutes
February 19, 2011

Scott McDonald opened with prayer.
The van list was passed. A driver is needed for March. The goal is to have a different driver each month. Seven months remain open. Currently the driver just picks up John.
Ministry of the Month: Fellowship, presented by Don. Details will be in the church bulletin during March.
While on the subject of fellowship, Scott expressed his disappointment that more church members didn’t attend the Agape Dinner last Sunday. Fellowship equals In-reach; the Agape Dinner should be a big event to show caring and loving for new members. (This is the L and C part of our mission for TLC). The Agape Dinner welcomed 33 new members. It was a good time with plenty of food and those who attended were able to meet new members and get to know more about them.
Comedy Night: Saturday, February 19, 7:30 p.m. @FCC (Tonight!). Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under. About 120 tickets have been sold, and tickets will be available at the door. This is an Outreach opportunity.
February 26, 8:00 a.m. – Conditions continue to improve, so we plan to have a grounds clean-up day next Saturday.
Men’s Fellowship Night- An evening @ FCC for the men to hang-out is planned for March 18, 7:00-10:00 p.m.
Keith closed in prayer. The next deacons’ meeting is March 19, 2011 @ 8:15.
