Outreach and Serving

SCRIPTURE SUPPORT: “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and give His life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28 (NIV)

PURPOSE: FCC Outreach and Serving Ministries exist to extend the love of Jesus to those in our community in tangible ways.

-Community Service - seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving our community through events such as the Special Olympics Dance, Help A Neighbor Day (H.A.N.D.), Laundry Love, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, and Community Kitchens
-Outreach and Guest Hospitality -
endeavors to share the love of Jesus with those in our community, to let them know that First Christian cares about them and to help them feel loved and welcomed as they enter FCC and throughout the week.

-Military Outreach - exists to share the love of Christ with, and express our appreciation to, our veterans and active duty service members and their families.
-Quiliting Ministry- our church family wraps individuals around the world with the love of Jesus
-Shut-In Ministry - Volunteers visit those who are unable to attend Sunday services to offer Communion, share current FCC updates, prayer, and encouraging conversation.
